Rob's first race was at the 2000 EDI Campo Indian Reservation, and he's been addicted to racing skateboards since. Downhill racing is everything one might imagine it to be: the speed, rush, thrill, gnar, jaw-dropping illness while skaters battle to the finish. Just talking about it doesn't do it justice, and that's why you'll usually find Rob outside skating every chance he gets.

Rob has been fortunate to travel the world, going to heaps of races, riding boards and meeting wonderful people, and counts his family of downhill skateboarders among the reasons you'll still see him lining up at the starting line. SkunkTech is the means to not only stay involved in the sport he loves so much, but also to use his vast racing knowledge to help produce the next generation of race-winning speedboards.
